The West Bank Union at the University of Minnesota was established in 1967 to offer services to students. Robert Berg Tapp was born on May 21, 1925. He earned his B.S. in 1945 and his Ph.D. in 1952 from the University of Southern California. He was a member of the faculty at Albert Schweitzer College (Switzerland) (1957-1958), St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY) (1952-1960), Scripps College (Claremont, CA) (1960-1964), the University of Chicago (1968-1972) and the Meadville/Lombard Theological School (Chicago, IL) (1964-1972) before coming to the University of Minnesota as professor of humanities a...
